Seizing opportunities - shaping the future

The Roman Herzog Research Prize for Social Market Economy honours three outstanding works - dissertations or habilitations - which provide important scientific approaches to the further development of the successful model of the social market economy. The submitted research work should provide a well-founded analysis of the currently relevant regulatory issues. The knowledge gained can be used to support political opinion-forming and political decision-making processes. Therefore, the feasibility and practical relevance of the research results are of great importance. Interdisciplinary contributions are highly welcome, as the Roman Herzog Institute is particularly committed to interdisciplinarity. Both self-applications and proposals from faculties and institutes are possible. The Roman Herzog Research Prize Social Market Economy is endowed with 35,000 euros. The deadline for entries is 31 December of the respective year.
