Prof. Dr. Martina Heßler

Fields of knowledge:

As a historian, I am interested in contemporary historiography. Interdisciplinary work is therefore also a matter of course for me. Thematically, I am currently particularly concerned with the question of the conditions and self-understandings of "being human" in a mechanized world. This means to ask about the relations of humans and machines and the position of humans (and machines). Especially current developments, especially in the world of work, challenge us to reflect on these questions again.
